To begin a community is a social group of any size whose members commonly share the same cultural and historic heritage. (Dictionary.com/community) Once you’re a part of a community a series of bonds hold community members together. I am member of a full time working and school attending community. Every day I force myself out of bed after staying up late finishing my everyday homework, after a long day at work, and glue myself to a computer screen earning my education. However I am not the only one living this temporary life.
The question is what drives us to keep living this hectic lifestyle? It's not easy to work full time and attend school. However it is done because people want a better life. These people work full time because they can’t afford otherwise. The people seen working full time and going to school full time, typically live on their own and rely only on their selves for survival. It comes down to self motivation and future goals that hold this community together.
This community requires a great wholesome support group. The full time community values sleep among all other things and are interested in self achievements. Self achievements are those such as finishing homework in advance in hopes on establishing a social life.
Tensions working against the cohesion of this community ideally are time, and motivation. Full time individuals are in constant motion going on continually with very little breaks. Often left wishing there were just a few more hours in the day. Motivation helps drive members, but it is easy to burn out. Members of this community become experts on managing time and pushing themselves to the limits.
I am a member of this group because this ever going cycle of working, school and sleep deprivation is on constant replay almost every day. However I want a more promising future and if a degree will get me there I will get it. I didn’t plan to be become part of this community, but the outcome of hard work and appreciation keeps me going strong.
